Observing data from more than 50,000 active Facebook Pages and 300,000 custom Facebook Page apps, the research found that contest submissions increase by 66 percent. App shares saw a rise by 57 percent and app views by 47 percent. For app shares to specific Facebook friends, a 33 percent uptick is observed.
